Over the last 3 yrs Punkappa felt led to start penning as much Soul food music as he could possibly muster and record.

This body of work is soulful, joyous and deeply influenced by old and early 2000’s RnB and of course for those in the know, Punkpappa always brings his signature Funk to the mix.

Pete Simpson
A unique voice that is loved by many.
From jazz to funk, soul, blues, gospel, dance and back again. A respected singer/songwriter with his influences coming from the great usual suspects Stevie, Donny, Luther, Aretha and Anita.

As a vocalist, Pete has a patented UK sound not unlike the highly regarded Shaun Escoffery and Omar.

As a singer and technician of his craft, Mr. Simpson can stand proudly alongside American cousins like Will Downing or Leon Ware. Essentially a vocalist who does it and does it with mind blowing flare.

Pete continually conjures a wonderfully pleasing tone that is a delight on the ears with a soothing, romantic flow that can comfortably fill the room with a soulful mood you won’t forget for a long while.
